The giftEDnz October Blog Challenge is On!

giftEDnz is running their first Blog Challenge during the month of October.  Each day there is a prompt to promote reflection and sharing.  The aim of the challenge is to get people reflecting on and learning about gifted education.  Its purpose is to create a community of practice where learning is ongoing, owned and created by its members and creates a sustainable professional learning environment.  We hope it also raises the profile of gifted education in Aotearoa and the unique learning, social and emotional needs of this group of children.

This will be a regular event throughout the year with a range of themes and prompts. We will not be running one in June as that is when NZCGE (New Zealand Centre for Gifted Education) hold their annual Gifted Awareness Blog Tour which is always an exciting time for all of us involved in gifted education.  Please click here to read some of the inspirational posts.

To find out more about the challenge please click here to see the range of prompts and register.  It's never too late to join and you don't have to blog every day.

To whet your appetite here is a post from Day 8 of the Challenge, written by our own Tracy Riley - Nine Logical Fallacies of Differentiation.
